A 9-day tour of the Cape Winelands with accommodation at the superb 5* hotel built on the Asara Wine Estate, ideally located on the outskirts of Stellenbosch.  Stellenbosch is, perhaps, the finest wine area in South Africa and many of the most famous names in South African wines can be found in an area reaching from sea-facing slopes to valley-hugging hills.  Our tour includes some of the country’s best vineyards in Franschhoek, Paarl and on this visit an excursion to the fabulous region of Hermanus.  Wine tastings hosted by the wine-maker give the chance to see and understand the passion and enthusiasm that goes into making good wine. A full sightseeing programme includes travelling through the majestic Du Toit Kloof mountains, around Cape Peninsula and time in Cape Town to enjoy Table Mountain and the V & A Waterfront.
