Grand Cru Travel were formed in the late 1990’s by Rodney Woodward and Clive Roberts to promote travel to food and wine regions and in the process taste the fine wines on offer and eat at local restaurants, some of international standard and some very much of the region.

The partners love of cricket soon saw them involved in tours to watch England play in most countries and this is now a major part of the business.

Rodney Woodward has been involved in the travel industry for many years and specialises in tailor made tours both in the UK and abroad. These involve both coach tours and air tours and each one is organised in an individual way to allow clients total flexibility in their arrangements.

Clive Roberts is a chef and wine merchant whose desire for perfect food and wine matching has attracted a dedicated following of adventurous foodies and wine lovers.

His passion for food and wine, his active involvement in the restaurant trade and broad knowledge of wine and winemaking make him an ideal host for Grand Cru’s food and wine tours.
